INVITATION

Definition
Invitation is a way to invite someone or more to go to a place or to do something.
Purpose
Inviting guest (family, friend etc.) to attend in our party, celebration and kind of it.

Type of Invitation
1.   Formal Invitation
An invitation usually originate from institute, companies, and kind of it. Characteristic of formal invitation we usually found language use is a formal.

2.   Informal Invitation
Personal invitation given to a friend, family, etc. usually informal invitation attend to more close with friend and family, beside is can make and share memories about event has been held.

·         Will you go with me ?
·         Please do to come to my house (Please do look me up)
·         Will you come with me to . . . birthday party
·         What about having lunch at new cafe?
·         You must come to the party O.K.

To Accepting
·         Sure
·         O.K. !
·         That would be very nice
·         That sounds a nice idea
·         Thank you. I’d like to very much


To Declining
·         Sorry, I can’t because . . .
·         That’s very kind of you, but I have another plan. Sorry.
·         I’d love to join, but I’m not feeling well
·         Unfortunately, my aunt is going to visit us that day
·         Thank you very much, but I have many things to do right now



Note : In invitation we always found “R.S.V.P”. It come from French expression répondez s'il vous plait which translate into English language “Please Respond”.
